Real-Life Figures in Historical Mysteries: Colleen Cambridge, author of the Phyllida Bright Mysteries, discusses the third book in the series that features Agatha Christie’s head of household as an amateur sleuth, MURDER BY INVITATION ONLY. She will discuss her love of Agatha Christie, why she decided to use her as a character in her series, and the research behind the books. She also mentions other series she features real-life figures in, including her Tabitha Knight Mysteries featuring Julia Child and her Lincoln’s White House Mysteries featuring President Abraham Lincoln.

COLLEEN CAMBRIDGE is the pseudonym for a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. She pens the Phyllida Bright Mystery series featuring Agatha Christie’s head of household as sleuth—the first of which, Murder at Mallowan Hall, was selected as a November 2021 IndieNext Pick from the American Booksellers Association and nominated for an Agatha Award for Best Historical Mystery. The first book in her American in Paris Mystery series featuring Julia Child’s fictional best friend, Mastering the Art of French Murder, released in April 2023. Colleen lives in the Midwest and is working on her next novel. Visit her at www.ColleenCambridge.com.
