Craft Beer Program

Author Will Siss will present a lively and informative presentation and lead a discussion about the history of Connecticut beer, its current state, and its future.

Siss has written a column called 'Beer Snob' for the Waterbury Republican-American since 2005 and has witnessed the rapid growth of Connecticut breweries during that time. He is the author of Connecticut Beer: A History of Nutmeg State Brewing (History Press, 2015), which will be available for purchase. Siss, who is also a teacher and musician, has had his work published in national magazines, including Beer Advocate and Brew Your Own. He also leads beer tastings.
