Program Description

Description

Join Jack Cunniff from Planet Bark to gain a better understanding of your furry companion's needs and behaviors. Jack will provide basic information for attendees to learn about what makes their dog tick, improve their relationship, and make decisions about formal dog training, including what type of trainer and training program would best suit their needs. Humans only! Please leave your dogs at home.

Planned topics of discussion include:
  • Reading dog behavior
  • Crate training
  • Enrichment activities for your dog
  • Daycares and kennels
  • Basic first aid

Jack Cunniff is the Owner and Manager of Planet Bark, a dog boarding and daycare facility operating in West Hartford since 2004. He is certified through Connecticut K9 Education Center as a Professional Dog Trainer. Prior to assuming responsibility for Planet Bark in 2015, Jack spent over twenty years working in the healthcare industry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing and watching tennis, and training his own dog, Fitzgerald.
