Dyslexia and Reading Struggles (In-Person)

The West Hartford Library has partnered with West Hartford Septo (Special Education PTO) to host a program for parents concerned about their children's reading abilities. This program will focus on dyslexia but will also address general concerns and offer practical strategies and resources for parents to support students at all grade levels who struggle with reading. 

Migdalia Fletcher is the founder of The Language & Literacy Lab, a division of A.L.L. Diagnostics & Consulting LLC, an educational evaluation and consulting company serving families and school districts across the state of Connecticut. They specialize in the differential diagnosis of reading, writing, and language disorders for children and adults who struggle with literacy. Migdalia brings over twenty years of diverse experience as a speech-language pathologist and language and literacy consultant in both private and public school settings.
