Description
Dyslexia touches the lives of one in five children, yet it’s often misunderstood. Join literacy consultant Barb Golub to explore what dyslexia is, what it isn’t, how to spot common signs across grade levels, and ways to celebrate the unique strengths of dyslexic readers. This interactive workshop will also share simple, practical ways to support readers at home and in school, from joyful reading routines to strategies for comprehension, spelling, and executive function. Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, teacher, or simply curious about dyslexia or wondering if someone you know might be struggling with reading, you’re welcome here.
Barb Golub is a literacy consultant, Certified Dyslexia Therapist Candidate, and former classroom teacher with over two decades of experience working in education from the classroom to the systems level.
Registration required. Registration opens one month before the program at 7:00pm.
