Program Description

Description

Members of the Korean Spirit & Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP) will demonstrate how to cook four Korean dishes, after which attendees will get a chance to eat a full meal on a traditional Korean table setting with Bangjja, bronze table ware. While you eat, watch a short film on Korean culture — and walk out with recipes and other literature on Korean history.

During the demonstration, you will learn not only how to prepare Korean dishes, but also the ingredients and how to find them at Korean supermarkets.

Founded in 2005, KSCPP is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of greater awareness and understanding of Korean history and culture. KSCPP is based in Seoul, Korea and has branches in New York, Los Angeles, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Registration is required, online or by calling 860-561-6990.
