Description

Grades 6-12: WHPL is looking to send a team of 6 players and 1 alternate to a virtual chess scrimmage happening Sunday, May 23 from 8:30-12. This event is hosted by the Hartford Public Library and Team DIG USA. Each weekend, HPL invites libraries across the state to play with them and the matches are broadcast live on the Hartford Library Twitch account.

Any teens who would like to participate, email Teen Services Librarian Kari Karp no later than noon on Saturday, May 22. You will be sent a Zoom link on 5/22 (or notified if we do not have enough players to send a team).
