Virtual programs by Capital Classics Theatre Company https://www.capitalclassics.org/ - The Shakespeare Summer Sessions are an extension of the very popular Shakespeare Book Club series at West Hartford Public Library.

All summer programs are live on select MONDAYS AT 7:00PM and feature Capital Classics Artistic Associate and Professor of Theatre Geoffrey Sheehan: 

  • Monday, August 17 at 7PM: We round out the summer with a "Contemporary Classics Conversation" about a new play that we are planning to stage in 2021.

Capital Classics Mission Statement: Capital Classics, a non-Equity professional theatre company, was founded in 1991 to enrich the cultural environment of Greater Hartford through the theatre arts. We are committed to providing classical entertainment that is affordable, accessible, and engaging; serving the community with cultural and educational programming; and providing job opportunities and training to Connecticut's professional theatre artists.
