Coloring Party: 100 Years of Women Voting! (NWL)

Celebrate 100 Year of Women Voting!

Color through history with Attorney general Tong and Lieutenant Governor Bysiewicz during a celebration kicking off the 100th anniversary of women's right to vote.

On Monday, Nov. 18, Attorney General William Tong and Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz will mark the anniversary of Susan B. Anthony's arrest for "illegal voting" and the upcoming 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote, by holding a coloring party with Connecticut children and families at the West Hartford Noah Webster Public Library. Families are invited to come to the library to meet the Attorney General and Lieutenant Governor and color-in pictures of Susan B. Anthony and learn about her contributions to the women's rights movement and women's equality in the voting booth. 

The coloring party in honor of the upcoming 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment will be held in the Meeting Room at West Hartford's Noah Webster Public Library from 4 to 5 p.m.
