Program Description

Description

Climate change is a challenge to us all. Are you asking yourself questions like "What can I do?" or "Am I doing enough?" This program will explore the emissions that lead to climate destruction and individual and community actions that can reduce our own impact on climate change.

The Sierra Club is the most enduring and influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. Founded by John Muir in 1892, the Sierra Club now has 3.5 million members and supporters across the country. Through advocacy, education, and legal action, the Sierra Club works to defend everyone's right to a healthy world.

Presenter Samantha Dynowski joined the Sierra Club in August 2018 as Connecticut State Director. She advocates for clean energy and the environment before the state legislature and state agencies. A Connecticut native, Sam is an avid hiker and gardener and resides in West Hartford.
