Program Description

Description

WEDNESDAY - Connecticut Screenwriters, a library-sponsored group, was established in April 2004. The group meets on the last Wednesday of every month (except Dec.) at 6 PM. Meetings are typically held either in the Library Meeting Room or the Board Room, Noah Webster Library, 20 S. Main Street, West Hartford. Currently, the meetings are held virtually on the library's Zoom account and in-person.

The group's objective is to provide feedback on original scripts. This group is not instructor-led; every month a new knowledgeable volunteer moderator is selected from the group to oversee the meeting and to facilitate the distribution of scripts. The group is geared to those with some screenwriting experience, though all are welcome to listen and observe. Only individuals who attend meetings regularly, and review submitted scripts, qualify to have their own script(s) reviewed by the group. New members have to attend two meetings before having scripts considered for review by the group.

Parking: Park in the nearby Isham Garage and go directly to the library to validate parking with your license plate number.

Connecticut Screenwriters is for ages 18 and older only. Most recent procedures.
