Ages 12 & up
Join us at Studio 20 South to learn the basics and try out our brand new sewing machine! In this workshop, you’ll familiarize yourself with the parts and functions of a sewing machine while practicing essential sewing skills such as threading the machine, adjusting settings, and stitching straight lines. Participants will learn to create the classic nine patch block--an essential element of quilting--and be able to make a follow-up appointment to continue to explore the machine for personal projects.
No experience necessary.
