Program Description

Description

This program was originally scheduled for 11/29.

Ages 12 & up: In this workshop, you’ll familiarize yourself with the parts and functions of a sewing machine while practicing essential sewing skills such as threading the machine, adjusting settings, and stitching straight lines. Participants will learn to create the classic nine patch block—an essential element of quilting—and be able to make a follow-up appointment to continue to explore the machine for personal projects. No experience necessary.

Space is limited. Registration required. Registration opens 3 weeks before the program.
