Teen Poetry Contest 2020 Submissions Due 4/30

Description

West Hartford students and residents in grades 6-12 are invited to submit up to 2 poems for consideration for the 2020 Teen Poetry Contest. Poems may be any style or length, but must reflect the author's original work.

To enter, please submit two copies of each poem (in .doc, .docx or .pdf format):

-One with no identifying information (title and poem ONLY) 

-One that includes (1) Title, (2) Author Name, (3) Age, (4) Grade, (5) School, (6) Language Arts / English Teacher, and (7) Email Address

1st, 2nd and 3rd grade winners at the Middle and High School levels will be awarded gift card prizes and their poems will be posted on the West Hartford Libraries website for one year starting in May!

Poems may be e-mailed to teenpoetry@westhartfordlibrary.org. Deadline is April 30.
