Co-sponsored with the West Hartford Senior Center and the West Hartford Library.

This is an in-depth conversation, given by members of AARP, designed specifically for unpaid family caregivers; the backbone of our health care system. The family caregivers could use some support to make sure their loved ones can make the choice to live safely and independently at home.

In this session, attendees will learn specific tools for navigating and connecting with available services, gain an understanding of care options and costs, and stay informed on the legislative issues impacting seniors and family caregivers.

AARP is a United States-based interest group whose stated mission is "to empower people to choose how they live as they age".According to the organization, it had more than 38 million members as of 2018.
