Synopsis: An incident of mistaken identity ends with the unfortunate desecration of a rug belonging to a Credence Clearwater-loving, pot-smoking bowling-enthusiast named Jeffrey Lebowski. Lebowski (better known as “The Dude”), confronts the other Jeffrey Lebowski (a wealthy recluse with a missing wife) and demands compensation. What begins as a simple mix-up escalates into a full-blown sleuth story in which The Dude navigates a sinister, weird, and hilarious underworld of artists, kidnappers, cowboys, nihilists, and bowlers. – Andy G.
