Lisa is a veteran of the financial services industry, holding positions in marketing, sales and communications, as well as editorial roles at business publications and newspapers. She has held a Series 6 securities license and is currently an AFC Candidate.

This background spans strategy development, investment and protection product marketing, communications and journalism through positions at MassMutual, Phoenix Life, Northwestern Mutual, and CNA Insurance, as well as holding editor and reporter roles at print and online publications. She has published articles on financial literacy. Lisa holds a BS in business management, MBA in Corporate Innovation, and a graduate certificate in online teaching.

Lisa taught personal finance to high school students, held workshop sessions on credit, and served as a panelist for young student-entrepreneurs. She was a guest speaker at University of Saint Joseph courses on nonprofit management. In the community, Lisa serves on the board of the Bushnell Park Foundation and as president for six years. She is chair of the Friends of West Hartford Parks and currently appointed to the West Hartford Parks and Recreation Board.
