Description

THIS PROGRAM IS A VIRTUAL-ONLY EVENT. REGISTER BELOW BY LEAVING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO RECEIVE LOGIN AND CALL-IN INSTRUCTIONS (SENT TO YOU ONE DAY BEFORE THE PROGRAM).

Created by Resetting the Table in partnership with Emmy award-winning Transient Pictures, PURPLE tells the story of Americans with opposing viewpoints addressing their differences head-on and discovering the concerns and humanity that lie behind each other’s positions. Filmed in rural Wisconsin and Iowa – in the area with the highest concentration of counties that flipped Obama-to-Trump in the 2016 election – PURPLE captures everyday Americans addressing their differences on work ethic, privilege, government, and the social safety net.

Join us to participate in a virtual screening and a rare opportunity for live discussion and skill-building with Helen Kramer, an Associate Producer of PURPLE and team member at Resetting the Table. The interactive post-screening program will include skill-building for difficult conversations across divides.
