Program Description

Description

Ages 12 & up: Curious about 3D printing? In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the basics of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and how to turn a digital idea into a real object. We’ll start with an introduction to 3D printing—how it works, what it can do, and where it’s used—before diving into beginner-friendly CAD software.

You’ll design and customize your own keychain, learning the fundamentals of creating shapes, modifying and remixing existing designs, adding text or patterns, and preparing your design for printing. Once your file is ready, you’ll submit it to be transformed into something tangible layer by layer on our 3D printer.

No prior experience needed; just bring your creativity and we’ll supply the rest.

Space is limited. Registration required. Registration opens 3 weeks before the program at 7:00pm.
