Program Description

Description

Please note that this program will be in person at the Noah Webster Library.

The Medical Cannabis 101 presentation will discuss the history of cannabis, what cannabis is, the different types, and how it can help relieve a multitude of symptoms. We will delve into the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and discuss why it is arguably one of the most important medical discoveries of the 20th century (and the least understood within the medical community). We will end the presentation discussing qualifying conditions to obtain a medical marijuana card in CT, the different methods of cannabis use, side effects, and safety precautions. The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session for any unanswered questions prior to conclusion.
