Want to learn how to turn your favorite photo into a work of art? Now you can! Learn some basic tips on how to take better photos and editing techniques using the free editing app Snapseed with your smartphone. Then turn your images into photo paintings using the free painting app Prisma. Your work of art can be printed later. Now you have a unique gift for special occasions that will wow your family & friends! In this fun filled workshop we will take a few photos, then you’ll pick your favorite photo and edit in Snapseed and then turn your image into a work of art!

Bring your smartphone &/or iPad (batteries charged and remember your id/passwords for downloading apps). If you have time before the workshop please download Snapseed & Prisma apps on your smartphones.

Andy Mars is an Event Photographer (specializing in weddings), people and pets. She is a photography instructor teaching classes & workshops in digital photography,
iPhoneography, and mixed media photography. She is currently a studio artist at Farmington Valley Arts Center in Avon, CT.

PARKING: There is ample library event parking in the nearby Isham Garage. Please bypass the garage kiosks and come directly to the Noah Webster Library Meeting Room, 20 South Main Street, where you may validate your parking with your license plate number.
