Program Description
Description
It might be said that chairs have their own unique personality. How would you design a chair that describes you? Van Gogh painted his chair like he painted a portrait but used ordinary objects instead. His chair was simple, rustic and modest, the way he saw himself. Participants will create an artistic and unique collage of their favorite chair design using mixed media and book text.
(We will have a few classic texts printed out but please feel free to bring a copy of your favorite book if you’d like!)
