Enjoy an engaging live virtual tour of the home of the beloved author, Jane Austen. Our beautiful tour includes a walkthrough of the house and outbuildings in Chawton, led by two expert guides from the Museum. Throughout the tour, you will learn about Jane’s life, her family, and her inspirations, featuring plenty of extracts from her letters and novels.

Your hosts for the tour will be Ellora Sutton (she/her) and Rebecca Wood (she/her). Ellora works as the Creative Engagement Officer at Jane Austen’s House and is also an award-winning poet. She published her debut chapbook, All the Shades of Grief, in 2020 and served as a Writer in Residence at the Museum earlier this year. Rebecca is the Museum Assistant at Jane Austen’s House and a History graduate from the University of Southampton. In 2019, her work was published in the university’s Undergraduate History Journal. The pair share a great enthusiasm for Jane Austen and love sharing it with fellow fans.
