Wild Women Coffee Tasting (NWL)

This coffee program focuses on four main topics—growing, roasting and expressing coffee, and reading coffee labels to identify responsibly sourced beans.  It will finish with a “cupping;” a lively tasting session where a variety of beans and roasts will be presented to highlight the unique taste that is in the heart of every bean. 

The presenters, Cindy and Jozzi from Wild Women Coffee, LLC are from Milford, CT. They will explain how they buy, roast, and sell responsibly sourced coffees from around the world, present the history, horticulture and production of coffee, and demonstrate brewing methods and cupping. Note: Men are welcome, too. FB

Coffee's rich, aromatic brew is derived from the cherries of Arabica and Robusta plants that grow in over 70 countries throughout the “Coffee Belt”—across Latin America, southeast Asia, Africa, and even parts of the United States. This presentation will provide coffee drinkers with an appreciation for the millions of people who grow, harvest and process the berries that create the drink that energizes them each day.
