Program Description
Description
Can you capture the arch of the back of a horse sprinting through time and space? The mysterious patterns in the saddle of an ostrich with a secret? What does the wooden lion resemble after his paint has been worn away? In this exciting, first-time collaboration, participants are invited to a free evening of unusual life drawing at the Carousel Museum in Bristol, CT. Amid timed instructions and challenges led by Studio 20 South Coordinator and local artist Samuel Ferri, Museum Docent Cate Mahoney will offer insights into the unique history, craft, and the meaning behind an incredible collection of carved bestiary.
No experience necessary! Art supplies will be provided.
Space is limited. Registration required.
