Program Description

Description

All ages: Create a Kintsugi-inspired collage using magazine pages and upcycled art papers, transforming torn and “broken” pieces into a reassembled composition traced with gold. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of repairing pottery with gold, this project celebrates imperfection by turning cracks into luminous design elements. Through tearing, layering, and mending, participants will explore how mistakes can become meaningful focal points, leaving with a finished artwork that honors process, resilience, and the beauty of flaws. All abilities encouraged! Participants that require caregiver support welcome.

Space is limited. Registration required. Registration opens 3 weeks before the program at 7:00pm.
