Program Description

Description

Is having a trust in your estate plan the best option for you? In this session, estate planning attorney Colleen Masse will demystify trusts and explain why a trust may or may not be suitable for you and why. First, you’ll learn about some of the most common types of trusts and the purpose and benefits of each. Whether you are new to trusts or understand them well, you’ll walk away knowing how and when to use these powerful planning tools to your advantage.

Attorney Colleen Masse, Chair of Special Needs and Fiduciary Services with Daly Perri Arnold & Knierim, helps families and individuals navigate estate and long-term care planning, Special Needs Trusts, and public benefits eligibility with clarity and compassion. Her background includes advocacy work with PLAN of CT and the Connecticut State Department of Education, supporting families in selecting appropriate trusts and championing the rights of students with disabilities.

Registration required. Registration opens one month before the program at 7:00pm.
