Babies Love Books! 

A literacy program for immigrant families. 

We welcome you to join Babies Love Books, a two-generation series of family literacy programs for immigrant parents/caregivers and their children ages birth through 4. Siblings may attend.

The session will be 6 weeks, starting on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 10:30 – 11:15 AM at the Faxon Branch Library and runs for 6 weeks (Tuesdays, September 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29). Families are expected to attend all 6 classes. Each 45 minute class will include a theme based storytime, techniques for sharing books at home, and related craft activities.

All participants will receive new books to take home to build their own home libraries. 

Families can register for library cards.

Registration: 

In-person registration will take place at the Faxon Branch Library (1073 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford) at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Space is limited and a wait list opportunity will be offered.
