Book Voyagers: Tales with a Twist

For grades 1-3

Book Voyagers is back! Join storyteller and retired Children's librarian Judith Stoughton for folktales and fairy tales with a twist. Folktales and fairy tales help us share culture, beliefs, and traditions and we all know many of these stories. Some parts will be familiar and some will be new, but all will be fun.

Meets on Wednesday, April 5, Tuesday, April 11, and Wednesdays, April 19 & 26 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Each participant receives a copy of each book! Registration is for the series of 4 meetings and is required.

The books in this series are:

  • Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein,
  • Goldy Luck and the Three Pandas by Natasha Yin,
  • Little Red and the Very Hungry Lion by Alex T. Smith, and
  • The Rooster who Would Not be Quiet by Carmen Agra Deedy
