Learn Chess!

For students in grades 1-4

Calling all children in grades 1-4 *NEW* to chess! John Sherman, local resident and retired educator, is bringing his love for the "Game of Kings" to the West Hartford Public Library. Learn how to play one of he oldest board games based on medieval times and traditions. Boards, explanations and guidance provided. This is a class to teach the basics of chess to beginners.

Registration is required and attendance is for the series of 4 classes - Mondays, March 13, 20, 27 and April 3, from 4:15 - 5:00 pm.

Registration opens on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 10:00 AM.
