Program Description

Description

Many programming languages are available, but Python is popularly used by statisticians, engineers, and scientists to perform data analytics because Python is easy to learn and understand, has a simple syntax, and has a vast collection of libraries for numerical computation and data manipulation.

The course introduces the concepts of Python including error handling, logging, functions, and using the most popular packages –numpy and Pandas. The project involves building a capstone project from the list of projects.

This course runs 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/5, 12/12, and 12/19 on Zoom. You will receive login information shortly before the first class. Registration ends 11/8 at noon.

Series sponsored by Second Innings. Courses are free to attend. Additional details for the program, including a syllabus, are available HERE.
