Description

Entering Grades 7+: Cool off in the Noah Webster Library Story Time Room and learn the basics of chess with rising juniors and volunteers Amithi & Nitya! They have been playing for the last decade, have 1000 USCF ratings, compete in tournaments, and tutor other students in chess.

These sessions are intended for new players who would like to learn the basics of chess. Chess boards will be provided, or bring your own!
