If you are a speaker of a language other than English and you would like to practice your English, join us every Friday morning at the Faxon Library! This is an adult intermediate level English class for people with some English experience, who can hold some conversations speaking about everyday topics and personal preferences. The class will review grammar basics, learn how to offer and request advice, talk about plans, and fix common mistakes in English pronunciation. Mayor's Youth Council (Off-Site)
MYC is a council of students in grades 9-12 who represent different public, private, and home schools in West Hartford. They meet twice a month (1 council meeting, one work session) from September-May to help plan and facilitate community impact projects that improve the quality of life of West Hartford youth.
