Description

Be inspired by trees! Tree-focused activities from the award winning national Project Learning Tree program will be presented, and participants will leave feeling inspired to share these tips and tools for celebrating trees with all the people in their lives.

About the Presenters: 

  • Emma Kravet is the Education Director for Connecticut Forest & Park Association and the State Coordinator for the national Project Learning Tree program. She previously worked as a program manager at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.
  • Beth Bernard is the Director at the James L. Goodwin Conservation Center in Hampton, CT.  Beth has over 15 years of experience as an environmental educator, including volunteer coordinator and camp director at various environmental and educational organizations including Green Chimneys Children's Services in Carmel, NY and Teatown Lake Reservation in Ossining, NY.
