Virtual programs by Capital Classics Theatre Company https://www.capitalclassics.org/ - The Shakespeare Summer Sessions are an extension of the very popular Shakespeare Book Club series at West Hartford Public Library.
All summer programs are live on select MONDAYS AT 7:00PM and feature Capital Classics Artistic Associate and Professor of Theatre Geoffrey Sheehan:
- Monday, July 20 at 7PM: Shakespeare in the Studio -“The Scenes We Thought We Knew” - Capital Classics veteran actors, led by Artistic Associate Geoffrey Sheehan, will open the rehearsal door on three of Shakespeare’s most famous scenes. Full program was recorded for YouTube, HERE.
- Monday, August 3 at 7PM: Shakespeare Book Club discussion of Shakespeare’s epic poems with readings from Capital Classics’ artists, too.
- Monday, August 17 at 7PM: We round out the summer with a "Contemporary Classics Conversation" about a new play that we are planning to stage in 2021.
