Anyone requiring auxiliary aid or service for effective communication or modification of policies or procedures to participate in a meeting, service, program or activity of the Town of West Harford, should contact Suzanne Oslander, ADA Coordinator, at suzanneo@westhartfordct.gov or (860) 561-7580, as soon as possible, preferably seven days beforehand.

Public Comment Instructions: Individuals who wish to comment on an agenda item, may do so by sending an email with the subject “public comment” to Board@westhartfordlibrary.org by the Friday before the meeting. 

The group meets on the last Wednesday of every month (except December) to provide feedback on original scripts. A knowledgeable volunteer moderator is selected from the group each month to oversee the meeting and facilitate the distribution of scripts. The group is geared to those with some screenwriting experience, though all are welcome to listen and observe. Only individuals who attend meetings regularly, and review submitted scripts, qualify to have their own script(s) reviewed by the group. New members must attend two meetings before having scripts considered for review by the group. Meetings are held in a hybrid format, both in person and over Zoom.

About this group

MYC is a council of students in grades 9-12 who represent different public, private, and home schools in West Hartford. They meet twice a month (1 council meeting, one work session) from September-May to help plan and facilitate community impact projects that improve the quality of life of West Hartford youth. They also work with local departments and organizations to help with town-wide initiatives as they arise.
